A purity figure with no HPLC trace behind it is just a marketing number.

Check four things. The compound name and molecular weight should match the product. The HPLC chromatogram should show one dominant peak. The stated purity percentage should be the area of that peak. Lyophilised means freeze-dried. Water is removed from the peptide under vacuum at low temperature, leaving a dry powder that is far more stable in storage and transport than a solution would be.

Store unreconstituted vials in the freezer, protected from light and moisture. Short periods in the fridge are fine. What matters most is avoiding heat and repeated freeze-thaw cycles, so keep them at the back of the freezer rather than in the door.
